Hop inside our covered and heated Aurora Sleigh towed by a snowmobile through the snowy winter landscapes. While seated comfortably on a lamb fur covered bench you can enjoy the views through the glass roof of the sledge. Your guide will take you to a spot where the Northern Lights are often dancing on the sky.

Hot drinks and snack are included as well as the tales and stories of your experienced guide. You will receive a link for the photographs taken.

After some research on the weather forecast, we take a car and drive it to places where the sky is most clear and the probability of seeing the Northern Lights is highest. Your experienced guide, a professional Aurora Hunter has some interesting stories to tell.

Driving by snowmobile we can go anywhere! Your guide, a professional Aurora Hunter will lead you through the snowy forests to the high terrain to spot the Northern Lights far away from any artificial lights. It’s really exciting to drive at night. You might even see some white rabbits or reindeer in your headlights. If lucky, there might be beautiful Northern Lights above you.

Put on a pair of snowshoes and follow your professional guide to the snowy forests nearby. The tour consists of both easy and some deep snow experiences. If lucky the Northern Lights will be dancing above us.

Your husky musher will pick you up from the Ivalo River Camping reception and take you to the husky farm nearby. You will be given instructions on how to control the sleds, which you will ride in pairs. One sitting in the sleigh and the other one mushing. At half point you’ll be served hot drinks and you may swap places before heading back.

Looking for a longer tour with the Arctic dogs? Here we go on a half-day husky safari through the snowy landscapes of Lapland forests. We stop half-way for a lunch in the wilderness and you can learn a lot about huskies from your guide, a professional musher. On your way back you can swap places so both of you gets to try mushing hands-on!

This compact program takes you to a short snowmobile adventure finding a spot on a frozen river to try your luck on ice-fishing. You’ll learn to drill a hole through thick ice and have fun luring the fish.

Driving through the Arctic winter forests across the frozen river while admiring the beauty of the Lappish nature your guide leads your way on this exciting snowmobile safari. Keep your camera with you! There are a couple of stops for taking amazing photos and chatting with your guide about life in Lapland.

This half-day excursion takes you through the snowy landscapes to a frozen lake where you will prepare a traditional snack by open fire in a rustic outdoor hut. There are plenty of opportunities for taking amazing photos. Bring your camera!

Wonderful full-day snowmobiling adventure in the wilderness area including an outdoor lunch prepared by open fire. For those seeking a bit more extreme backcountry driving.

Take a different perspective and enjoy the serenity and stillness of the wild from the saddle. Explore exciting trails and breathtaking scenery, breathe in clean air and let your senses be filled with purity of Arctic nature. Calm and friendly Finnish horses, living national treasures, will carry you safely through the woods. After the ride we'll enjoy refreshments. You'll make memories for life!

Our guide helps you putting on ski boots and picking up the right skis and ski poles. The tour starts with learning the basic skiing techniques with your guide. The tracks are easy enough for beginners and we can adjust the length of the trip according to your skill level.

Put on a pair of snowshoes and follow our guide on the wintry forest paths. If we are lucky, we might observe some animal tracks in the forest and maybe even see some Arctic animals. Your guide will tell you about the nature and living in Lapland.

Fat Bikes are bicycles with huge fat tires so they roll well even on snow! Electronic engine assists you as you pedal through the forest trails with us. We take a scenic route to see a perfect landscape view and to take some photos.

Friendly and beautiful Finnhorse arrives to pick you up from the reception. This blond-haired strong working horse will take you on a calm and relaxing tour through the snowy forests around the woods.

Try your luck fishing through the ice. You will be taken to a nearby river where your guide will show you how to drill a hole in the ice and prepare the bates for ice- fishing. Enjoy the silence and the pure Arctic air while luring the fish to bite. Catch is not guaranteed, but you never know!

Racing on ice and snow! Our special winter go-karts are fun to drive on icy track laid out in the forest. The lap timing system will tell you your lap times on a break and you may want to turn to your guide for some tips on how to tackle those slippery corners as fast as possible. Can you beat your friend’s time on the qualifying round? Who crosses the finishing line first in the competition?

You get a nice bag of lichen to feed to the reindeer. Reindeer loves lichen! They come close and with a little patience they will eat from your hand. This is a good time to take close-up photos with reindeer too.

Meet your guide at the reception who will take you on a short walk to the Reindeer park. Your reindeer sleigh is awaiting and will take you on a peaceful winter adventure in a traditional ‘raito’ form where the reindeer walk one after another each pulling a sleigh.

Sit back and enjoy the  sleigh ride through the snowy forest.

We will drive to a reindeer farm in the fell region of Saariselkä to enjoy a calm 45-minute ride in a sleigh pulled by a reindeer, followed by hot drinks and stories about reindeer herding.

Sauna with panoramic glass windows towards the river valley and an outdoor jacuzzi next to it offer a perfect way to relax after a day of activities.

Sauna building includes:

• Dressing room - Toilet
• Showering room with 2 showers
• Sauna compartment under glass roof

A small traditional wood-heated sauna by the river with a hole in the ice for ice-swimming. Carried water, no shower.

Classic massage after an adventurous day is a perfect way to rewind and relax.
